Banana Almond Breakfast Bars

In effort to curb my endless snacking and satisfy my craving for virtually anything over the past few weeks, I have been trying new recipes everyday. This recipe, for Banana Almond snack bars, is a great way to make a quick snack you can have all week.

Recipe:

1) Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.

2) Take ripe 5-7 ripe bananas depending on how you want them to taste and mash them until they are smooth.

3) Add whatever amount of almond slivers to the mashed bananas.

4) Put a little water to make mixing easier

5) Now, here's the part where you can virtually put in whatever you want. I have made them with cacao nibs and cinnamon so far, but if you have other ingredients that you’d like to try, go for it.

6) Put them in the oven for 25-30 minutes and let cool before you cut :)

Enjoy these simple and tasty treats for breakfast or a midday snack!
